Larkin Bell is an actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker. Originally from Utah, Larkin grew up in the mountains alongside the Sundance Film Festival which introduced her to independent films and inspired her love of storytelling. She writes social commentary dramas, focusing on women’s stories and histories, and recently completed a screenwriting fellowship with Stowe Story Labs.

 

As an actor, Larkin's most recent work includes acting opposite Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) in the upcoming feature film Winter Spring Summer or Fall directed by Tiffany Paulsen (About Fate), Netflix's Stranger Things, Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House, as well as various independent and short films, and many national and global commercial campaigns. She has also acted on stage in Los Angeles with IAMA Theatre and The Theatre at Boston Court. 

Larkin has produced several short films, as well as the upcoming dramedy feature film Friend Divorce about female friendship (which she also acts in). In an effort to support and learn from women in film, Larkin co-hosted and produced over 65 episodes of the podcast A Brighter Lens, interviewing and spotlighting women behind and in front of the camera. Podcast guests included: Lynn Shelton, Nisha Ganatra, Amber Sealey, Tanya Saracho, and Amey René. Additionally, Larkin recently produced the second season of the Agent Stoker podcast, created by Brian Nelson (Hard Candy) and Chris Conner (Altered Carbon), starring Ato Essandoh, Emily Deschanel, and Tamara Taylor. She has worked in production for the Sundance Institute Labs Program, as well as Film Independent’s LA Film Festival and Spirit Awards. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Women in Film.
